Computer Security – CIA

Computer security is a branch of technology known as information security as applied to computers. The objective of computer security includes protection of information and property from theft, corruption, or natural disaster, while allowing the information and property to remain accessible and productive to its intended users
The beginning of information security start with CIA. CIA is an abbreviation for Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability.
Confidentiality: aims to prevent unauthorized reading of information
Integrity: prevent information from unauthorized writing
Availability: aims to make the information available at any time
Beyond CIA there are also: Authentication, Authorization  and Access Control
